Texas Governor Fires Ruger .380
AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Gov. Rick Perry shot and killed a coyote while jogging with his .380 Ruger. The coyote was apparently threatening his dog (and possibly him i assume). I wonder if he was carrying the Ruger LCP? He said he packs hollow point bullets, and carries the weapon for fears of snakes on the trail. Isn’t there bird-shot for a .380? Wouldn’t that be more effective than a hollow point bullet for shooting a snake?
