moFirearm Policies
moFirearms is Missouri’s only one-stop source for firearms, self defense, preparation & survival news and training information. Baring any unforseen complication, our paper is published on Tuesday of each week.
We welcome interesting and informative articles from our readers, which include firearm instructors, first responders, firefighters, preppers and anyone else who has something to say about firearms, self defense, preparation & survival. If you’re knowledgeable on any of these subjects and can put together two paragraphs of text (or more), you can publish a weekly article in moFirearms.
Articles should be between 200-400 words. Those which require more space may be published in multiple issues.
We are interested in articles about:
- Firearms
- Self Defense (products, training, tips)
- Preparation (tornado preparredness, wrol, etc)
- Survival (news stories, tips)
- News or Events Geared Towards Any of the Above Items
Tips for writing your article:
- Write about what you know! – Although questions & comments about previous articles are appreciated also
- Write in an informative way so that others will learn from your article
- Include a picture when submitting your article
- Use spell check before submitting
- Read your article a few times before submitting it + have a friend read it also
moFirearms reserves the right to edit or reject any material submitted for publication.
How to get published:
Send us your article by email, along with a photo and the following information about yourself: Name, Phone Number, Email Address. The photo can be from an event, an object that represents your article, or simply a head-shot of yourself (the author). We will publish your name and email along with your article so people can direct questions specifically to you if they’d like. Your phone number is just for moFirearm’s purposes and will not be published.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your article and have sole responsibility for the content of your material.
While we will try to publish all articles at the right time, publication date may vary based upon the volume of submitted material. If your article is time sensitive, please submit it a few weeks in advance.
