A Cheap Handgun is Still Deadly!

Firearms Preparation Self Defense Training

A $35 handgun can kill a bad guy just as easily as a $400 firearm. This was the lesson taught by southernprepper1′s video. The short video serves as a reminder that anyone who is mentally capable of using a gun in self defense has no reason not to own a gun. If your budget only permits $20 a month, then within a few short months you can have a gun and a few short months after that you can have ammo and practice time put in so you know how to use it. Who can’t find $20 a month to put into a firearms life insurance policy?

And with high-quality, full scale, full metal, gas blowback airsoft handguns and rifles, practicing is cheaper that ever!(minus the full-scale cost of the airsoft gun lol)

Any working gun is better than no gun at all!
My first pistol was a Hi-Point C9 and although Hi-Points get a bad rep from some people they are really well built firearms. I bought it for $169.00 new with 1 eight round magazine.
I did have a few misfeeds but discovered that it just didn’t feed the low grade Winchester White Box bulk ammo(WWB). A call to the Hi-Point office confirmed this fact and it works fine with any other ammunition I have used.
I’m sure that most people will agree that good quality ammo works much better than bottom of the barrel factory seconds do, which is what the WWB ammo is.
Even Glocks have problems when shooting unjacketed lead ammo but unless you know this your going to find out the hard way.

  3. A relative asked me what I thought about Hi-Points a month also. I honestly told him that I have never shot one, but have heard many more bad things about them then good. Their reliability might not be the best at feeding various ammunition, but with the right ammo, I certainly wouldn’t want to be on the other side of one. It’s not a firearm brand I’d use in a competition, but if that’s all your finances can support right now, it’s better than nothing. Thanks for sharing your experience Capt Cook!
